The role
As a member of the MEE regional team, you will take shared responsibility for the transformation of the region to a new operating model whilst delivering Save the Children’s strategy within the region.

You will ensure and enable that Country Offices in the region 1) meet operating standards for preparedness; 2) grow their humanitarian programme portfolio and programming capacity; 3) respond effectively and efficiently to humanitarian crises; 4) access surge capacity, humanitarian management and DRR expertise from Members.
You will support and enable the MEE Regional Office to 5) meet back office requirements for all humanitarian crises; 6) maintain appropriate regional emergency preparedness; 7) engage with regional humanitarian partners.
You will be responsible for Logistics for the region and also to provide technical support and capacity building to Country Office Logistical staff on all aspects of logistics and operational programme delivery.
