IRC is currently preparing a proposal in response to a USAID-funded request for applications to expand the presence of GBV prevention and response programming throughout Kenya and support the development of peace networks and platforms for women to be effectively involved in decision making and take leadership of their country. The Gender and Conflict Coordinator will advise the Women’s Peace Campaign Project and related staff, including IRC country management, on issues related to gender and conflict ensuring that prevention and mitigation strategies are put in place at all levels of program implementation.
