Description                          Pact Kenya   is an NGO that facilitates institutional development of CSOs through grant management and capacity development.  The Senior Programme Officer, will report to the Head of Peace, Democracy and Governance and will provide training, mentoring and guidance to program partners. S/he will assist in assessing the Kenyan democracy and governance context, developing and implementing programmes. Track and analyze governance reforms and report the Kenyan democracy and governance context on a week and monthly basis.  Participate in the selection of appropriate partners for Pact Kenya  ’s democracy and governance interventions. Technical support to Pact Kenya  ’s partners in the development of effective democracy and governance projects and programmes.
Qualifications                      Bachelors Degree in social sciences/related field, Master’s degree will be an addedadvantage. Post graduate qualifications in program/project design, development and management, at least 10 years relevant experience in democracy, and governance sector, at least 3 years of which should be middle
                                            management. Strong knowledge management, presentation, facilitation, analytical and report writing skills.

Description                              Chief of Party (COP) will provide overall management leadership, technical guidance, and comprehensive support for the MYAP food security/nutrition programs at the country level, including managing the response to food and nutrition related emergencies within the scope of those programs. Of particular importance is the integration of long-term, sustainable interventions with the aim of reversing chronic food insecurity. The Chief of Party is accountable for both the quality of programs in the portfolio and for the effective financial and operational management thereof. S/he will serve as the management leader and coordinator of a team of agricultural, MCH, HIV/AIDS and commodity staff. The COP will also serve as the primary representative at national level for liaison with Government, donors and partner agencies involved in the program   
Qualifications                          10-15 years progressively advanced management experience in field based food security and emergency programming. •         at least 2 years of senior-level experience working on food security projects that addressed gender-related constraints or differences in availability, access, and utilization/consumption of food resources. • Experience in managing large field programs with multiple local and international partners, with expertise in scaling up programs in complex environments • Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, budget development and management, multi-sector work plan development, and program reporting for diverse audiences. • Familiarity with USAID rules, regulations and policies • Demonstrated skills in leadership and supervision, with an ability to develop a common vision among partners and lead and be a member of multi-disciplinary teams • Proven ability in promoting and collaborating closely with multi-level stakeholders, development and maintenance of positive and productive relationships with clients, consultants and donors and head quarter offices. Previous experience in managing large scale Title II programs preferably at Chief of Party Level • Experience working in changing work environment associated to conflict, post-conflict and/or disaster prone environments.
