GRM International seeks to appoint a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic international team based in Pretoria, South Africa for a three month period. This key role supports specified GRM Projects through the provision of direct administrative and financial monitoring support ensuring cost effective, timely and specification-compliant project delivery.

Effective project coordination includes the following skills and attributes:


· A university degree in a relevant discipline (exposure to accounting an advantage]


· Experience in a project-oriented environment with the following responsibilities:


1. Financial management including preparing detailed budget spreadsheets and monitoring project progress and expenditure against budget


2. Reporting on project progress, identifying project performance issues and assisting with the resolution of issues


3. Providing direct administrative support


4. Assisting in the mobilisation of personnel


5. Coordination workshops, training and orientation briefings for project staff as required


6. Assisting in the preparation of capability statements, expressions of interest and proposals


· Initiative, a proactive approach and the ability to multi-task


· Excellent communication skills in English


· Highly skilled in the use of Excel and MS Office


· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with different cultures


· You must be able to start straight away!

A key objective of this role is to support the successful delivery of a multidisciplinary development assignment. Reporting to the Project Manager, the candidate will be directly responsible for the proactive management of accounts, finances and administration of the project, whist communicating daily with the project team.
