1. Data Base Assistant Description
Under the overall supervision of the USAID Development Transitional Initiatives for Somalia (TIS) Program Manager, and the direct supervision of the Grants Manager in Nairobi , the incumbent will support IOM/TIS achievement of its objectives in Somalia by producing and disseminating information which is then classified into a database. The Database Assistant is responsible for collecting, analyzing, investigating, managing and distributing composite information associated with the OTI program in Somalia within the context of the overall USG transition effort. He/she is also responsible for analyzing baseline and monitoring data and creating new measurements into IOM work-plans and systems.
2. Project Assistant Description
Under the overall supervision of USAID Development Transitional Initiatives for Somalia (TIS) Program Manager and the direct supervision of the Grants Manager in Nairobi , the incumbent will assist in the administration of the grants by ensuring proper documentation and filing of grants related financial and contract documents and assisting the Grants Manager in pre-award assessments and mentoring of grantees.
3. Finance Assistant -Grants Administration
Under the overall supervision of the USAID Development Transitional Initiative for Somalia (TIS)
Program Manager; under the direct supervision of the Grants Manager, under the technical supervision of the Resource Management Officer, with support from the Grants Assistant, the incumbent will perform routine functions in the area of financial administration, verification of payments, and general accounting duties with connection to TIS activities, managing financial documents to work in accordance with the IOM financial rules and regulations.
