The global objective of the Call for Proposals is to “support actions aimed at promoting an inclusive and empowered society in Ghana .” It is an “actor-oriented” programme with a small research component aiming at strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations as a precondition for a more equitable, open and democratic society.
The specific objective of the Call for Proposals is to “contribute to an increased performance of non-state actors and their networks in ensuring a more effective, committed and nationwide engagement of communities in local planning and decision making processes as well as to support the development of a more comprehensive and harmonized approach for social accountability in Ghana .”
Grant amount: The minimum amount that applicants can apply for is EUR 300,000 while the maximum amount is EUR 500, 000 ( with a minimum contribution of 10% of Ghanaian organizations and 25% for EU member state applicants)
